Shane is the Tourism Officer for Bundoran in County Donegal. He has held the position since March 2013 and it his job to promote the town to encourage visitors to the seaside resort. His job involves running the tourist office, producing events, running the website www.discoverbundoran.com as well as the official social media channels for the town.

Over the years, Shane has increased the profile of the town as a domestic destination for families, couples and those who want to have some “me” time. He has introduced several events including the annual pumpkin carving competition, Easter Egg painting, street party and in 2019, two new events – Big Week by the Beach and Bia Bundoran Food & Drink Festival.
